Guarajuba
Guarajuba is a small fisherman village at the Linha Verde between Salvador and Praia do Forte. The small village has got no curiosities of importance, but surely a number of nice restaurants and bars, of which a lot can be found at the beautiful beach.
Guarajuba means in Tupi-guarani "Golden Heron". Naturaly beautiful, Guarajuba blunts also because of his high level of confort and cosiness.

Near Guarajuba there is an ecological reserve named Sarapiranga, where you can find water-falls for a delightful shower.
Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to know many other places in the north litoral of Bahia, like Praia do Forte and it’s sea turtles, Itacimirim, Barra do Jacuípe, etc.
Restaurant tips
You can find the traditional "acarajé" (a very special fried food) all long the beach. It’s cooked at the time you request, by "baianas" in typical clothes.
