A Manjedoura
Mansão do Caminho consists of several different parts, of which 'a Manjedoura' is the first stage. Approximately 150 baby's and toddlers in the ages from 2 months - 3 years come here daily in a day care centre, most of them taken by their parents who do not have any money to take proper care of their children. A Manjedoura is a building of two floors and offers several babycare rooms, a kitchen, toilets, bathroom, diningroom, laundry, recreationroom, a meetingroom for the parents, medical centre and pharmacy.
The baby's and toddlers are fed five times a day and recive all medical and pediatric care that is needed. There is a very good integration with the mothers, which are regularly requested to be present for meetings, receive training and work a minimum of 4 hours per month as volunteer.

In 1987 it became clear that the number of children became só big, that an education filosophy was developed. Today, Mansão do Caminho consists of the following schools:
- Escola de Primeiro Grau Jesus Cristo with 1012 pupils
- Escola de Educacão Infantil Alvorada Nova with 100 pupils
- Escola Allan Kardec with 374 pupils
- Escola de Informática with 400 pupils
Next to these, the Mansão offers the Biblioteca de Pesquicas Escolares, which can be used freely by all pupils.

Casa de Cordialidade
is a special social plan for extremely poor families. For the so-called 'Qualidade de Vida' program a social and economical diagnose is made, and a 5-year plan is made to support the family with study, food, medical help, children caretaking, social behaviour, ethics and Spiritism.
After these 5 years, and when the targets are reached, this help is being offered to another needy family.
At this moment some 150 families with a total of 705 people are supported.

Next to that, elderly and sick people are visited and taken care of, bazaars are held, and special programs for the youth are organized during National Holidays.
